Are you ready to learn to curl but don't know where to begin? The Adult Learn to Curl (ALTC) Program at Fort William Curling Club is your best bet to get you on your way to playing in the leagues!
Adult Learn to Curl is a 5-week comprehensive program that is offered twice a year (October and January) to those aged 18+. You will receive instruction on safety, delivery, sweeping, positioning and game strategy from our certified coaches and experienced volunteers. Game play is an essential part of learning. We will divide into teams to play games so you can experience all the positions. Our main focus is to help you learn the basics and then to improve your curling skills from week to week. Once you have completed the program, you will be placed in our Novice League which is a league dedicated to new curlers. This will help to give you the experience and confidence to enter other leagues in the future. Limited spots are available.
