The Fort William Curling Club is a non-profit society that offers 8 sheets of ice for its member community. We host many club leagues as well as partner-sponsored leagues that meet the needs of our varied membership. We have leagues and programs suitable for beginners, intermediate and advanced level curlers, and we cater to different age groups as well. From youth development to our seniors, our league menu has something for everyone.

History
The current facility, with artificial ice, opened on March 10, 1951, as the Fort William Curling and Athletic Club. The club is adjacent to the Fort William Gardens.

The Fort William Curling Club was established in Fort William (now Thunder Bay) on September 18, 1891, on property leased by Peter and John McKellar. It was originally part of the Manitoba Curling Association. The rink was destroyed by fire twice, in 1892 and 1908.

A Word On Accessibility: We have wheelchair curlers taking part in leagues and programs at the Club. We offer a fully accessible facility with an elevator available to the lounge level and wheelchair access to ice level directly from the parking lot. We are very fortunate to have a team of amazing volunteers who do everything from teaching curling to new curlers, to helping with events and bonspiels.
