If you are ready to try curling, you've come to the right place! At The Fort William Curling Club, we love to introduce new curlers to the sport! Whether you are a newbie or someone who just hasn't played in awhile and needs a quick refresher, we have a program to suit everyone's needs. Best of all, our certified coaches and experienced volunteers are here to support you in your development in the great game.
We have designed two programs to get you started so you have the skill and confidence to get out on the ice. One is a quick 2-hour clinic that covers all the basics and the other is an 8-week comprehensive program for those who want to dive a little deeper. After completing our new curler programs, we have other opportunities to continue your development. Our Winter Development League is geared towards graduates of the Adult Learn to Curl Program where you compete week to week in a league with other new curlers just like you. In addition, we offer drop-in events where you can connect with other new curlers and take part in practice games.
