bonspiel main The Fort William Curling Club hosts a number of bonspiels and funspiels throughout the season giving curlers the opportunity to compete at their level, while celebrating our Club and the greater curling community. From one day skin spiels, to stick spiels and full-on weekend parties, we have something for everyone!

If you've never been to a Fort William Curling Club bonspiel before, we feature various divisions so curlers of differing skill levels can compete at their own level and still win prizes! You don't have to be a pro - you just have to love curling and a great party! We'll see you on the ice!

Please Note: Registration deadlines will be listed when they become available along with a link to register your team. However, some of these spiels are very popular and tend to sell out quickly, so do not delay in registering or you may be disappointed!

Power of Hope Bonspiel: Building hope and supporting mental health & community wellbeing

Join us for an inspiring event committed to building hope and strengthening mental health services and community programs across Thunder Bay, in partnership with the United Way of Thunder Bay. The Power of Hope Bonspiel unites curling enthusiasts and community members to make a positive, local impact by supporting essential programs. Together, BETTER is POSSIBLE.

Event Highlights:

Exciting curling action in a 3-game Skins format: 1 game on Friday and 2 games on Saturday.
Enjoy meals, prizes, and nightly celebrations, featuring the lively Pepsi Party Zone on sheets 1 & 2.

Registration Details:

Registration Fee: $60 per player
Minimum Pledge Requirement: $50 per player

Funds raised will go directly to support programs focused on mental health, resilience, and community wellbeing. Participants can collect pledges online via CanadaHelps or use paper pledge forms available on our website.
