We're thrilled to kick off The Dog Lake Resort Fall Classic Bonspiel (formerly the World Series Bonspiel)! As you know, this is always the first bonspiel of the season at Fort William Curling Club! We come together in the spirit of comeraderie and good curling!
This spiel offers 4 divisions (A, B, C, D) for a mix of skill levels. Being our first spiel, it is also an opportunity to get to know curlers from FWCC and other city curling clubs and centres. This party is sure to bring down the house!
What to Expect
- Draws & Updates: Draw schedules will be posted around the club. We’ll update the main board after each game.
- The Big Hitter: After your first game, make a hit and stick to establish tie-breakers.
- Snacks & Drinks: You will receive coupons for beverages and food from our restaurant. Inside your team package, enjoy a complimentary pitcher of beer from Labatt! Underage players can redeem for any non-alcoholic drink.
- Saturday Morning Goodies: Coffee and pastries await you in the morning, and from 11 a.m. on, dig into unlimited hotdogs. Popcorn will be available at tables all weekend for snacking.
- Game Results & Prizes: Report scores at the main table, and don’t forget to log your Big Hitter results! Winning teams earn $$ – be sure to collect your prize!
