The Board of Directors is providing notice of our Annual General Meeting (AGM) this year at the Fort William Curling & Athletic Club on Thursday, September 26th, 2024 @ 7:00 p.m.

Bylaws

New Business to be voted on at the meeting is our ONCA compliant Bylaws. Please review the documents below where you can see the comparison chart along with the old bylaws for ease of understanding. The new bylaws have been approved by the Board and require approval by the membership to meet the ONCA deadline of October 19, 2024. New Business

Any other New Business that any member would like to address must be provided to the board with the information of the proposal for us to provide to the membership for voting. Any items from the floor will not be voted on but added to the agenda for the next member meeting or at the board level depending on the business.

Proxy Vote

If you cannot attend the meeting, as a voting member as defined in the Bylaws, you may give your proxy to another voting member attending the meeting in-person to vote on any motions being put forward at the meeting. Please register your Proxy by emailing our club secretary Tricia Sampson no later than Thursday September 19th, 2024 @ 12:00pm.  See proxy form below:

Nominations

Nomination of Directors – we will be accepting nominations for the Board of Directors. If you are interested in joining the board – please nominate yourself or have someone nominate you to help our club stay successful. More information on the roles that will be available will be circulated as soon as possible.
