McCarville Shines at the Scotties!

What a week! The FWCC nation were glued to their televisions as our Krista McCarville team represented Northern Ontario at the 2017 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in St. Catharines, Ontario. McCarville and rink-mates Kendra Lilly, Ashley Sippala, Sarah Potts, Oye Sem Won Briand and coach Lorraine Lang were exceptional finishing the round-robin with a record of 8 wins and 3 losses. Their record qualified them for the play-offs where they knocked off Chelsea Carey's Team Canada squad in the 3 vs. 4 page play-off. McCarville then lost to Ontario's Rachel Homan (the eventual event champions) in the semi-finals. McCarville settled for fourth place as they dropped the bronze medal match to Carey.
